Towing systems are another matter. Once you get the power to the pavement, you have to able to slow the load. TnT Performance Center carries a unified tow brake system for combination motor home and towed vehicle. The system is revolutionary in design, putting all of the power and components where they belong - in the towed vehicle. Control of the system is still located in the motor home. The system also uses accelerometer technology for the fastest acting tow brake available in the marketplace.
Diesel exhaust brakes are very popular when towing a load or traveling in mountainous regions. We offer two types of systems depending upon your personal preference.
One system is mounted directly to the turbocharger and the other system mounts downstream in the exhaust piping. Both systems are activated with the flip of a switch in the vehicle.
Another popular item for this market is our Auxiliary Transmission Underdrive/Overdrive. This unit bolts directly to the back of the primary transmission. They are available for both automatic and manual transmissions, 2 or 4 wheel drive. A control module mounted on the gearshift lever in the vehicle activates the unit. Traveling is made more enjoyable when you can climb hills easily and cruise more efficiently.
